Huberto Maestas

Sculptor

internationally recognized artist-sculptor. His work is diversified and includes the human form, wildlife, and inanimate objects. He received his formal education at Adams State College, CO.Maestas' work is in private collections and is exhibited internationally. In recent years Maestas has been working on a commission in Southern Colorado that includes a monumental project of fifteen outdoor sculptural bronzes.

His notable works include the life sized Stations of the Cross located in San Luis, Colorado, miniatures of which are in the Vatican collection, and the statue of Padre Martinez in Taos, New Mexico.
