Degreed in business, computers and communications- trained in photography, art and music. With his eagerness to experiment and his courage to try new things, he uses his background and understanding of things technical to push the envelope as a commercial photographer. In addition to his fine art photography, Lucas has worked on assignments and commissions for clients in advertising, real estate and property development, interior design and corporate art. His work has been exhibited and collected throughout the USA and is on permanent collections of Milwaukee Art Museum, Amon Carter III, Business of Art Center, Colorado Springs Art Museum, Art in Public Places New Mexico His photographs have been published in magazines, books, calendars and commercial advertizing projects.

His images appeared in a wide variety of publications.
